		<description>I agree with this posting, there are a lot of scholarship scams out there. One thing you need to realize is that there are many websites out there too that simply exist to just collect your personal information and then market to you.

I trust fastweb.com, which is owned by Monster. They have thousands of scholarships out there for other companies. If you want to apply direct to companies, that&#039;s also a good way.

A good starting point is to go to Borders, pick up a scholarship book and bring your pen and paper. Write down all the websites in a scholarship book (Peterson&#039;s is a good one) and then visit them and apply when you get home.</description>
